Baggage
Free allowance for adults and fare-paying children.
Between the USA, Canada or the Caribbean and the Cayman Islands, and within the Cayman Islands:
- 2 checked pieces, max 55 lb, with length + width + height no more than 62 inches.
- 1 carry-on, no larger than 11 × 16 × 24 inches.
Express flights within the Cayman Islands:
- Up to 2 checked pieces with a combined weight of no more than 55 lb. The longest side of any piece can't exceed 45 inches, and length + width + height is limited to 62 inches.
- 1 carry-on of up to 15 lb.
If you connect from a jet to an Express flight, the most restrictive allowance would normally apply, but Cayman Airways lets you keep the jet allowance, and all connecting baggage gets priority.
Check-in
- Domestic flights: check in one hour before departure.
- International flights: check in three hours before departure.
Cayman Airways doesn't use self-service kiosks at the moment.
Special services, children and pets
- Cayman Airways doesn't offer special meals at the moment.
- Unaccompanied minors (UM) aren't accepted on interline travel.
Dress code
If an outfit is appropriate and in good taste for paying customers, it is fine for non-revenue travel too. Look clean, well groomed and tasteful: a sloppy appearance is never acceptable.
Not allowed:
- Torn or dirty clothes.
- Overly revealing or distracting clothes, such as miniskirts, bra tops, lewd garments or see-through clothing.
- Swimwear or sleepwear.
- Vulgar, profane, derogatory or otherwise offensive clothing, including words or pictures that may offend customers and others.
- Bare feet or beach-type rubber flip-flops. Leather or dress slippers are fine.
- Shorts on international flights.
As the employee, it's your job to tell your dependents about Cayman Airways' rules, such as the dress code and how to behave on board and at the ticket counters.
