myIDTravel: login, app and standby listing

myIDTravel is the platform many airlines use for staff travel: you book ID tickets in it and, on many airlines, list for standby. It is run by Lufthansa Industry Solutions, which says it has more than 300 customers, from global carriers to small regional airlines.

Your access comes through your employer: your airline connects you to myIDTravel and decides what you can book. If you can't sign in or your account is locked, contact your airline's staff travel department.

What you can do in myIDTravel

Book, change and cancel ID tickets for yourself and the people your airline lets travel on your benefits, see flight availability and fares, and follow check-in and boarding. Which airlines and fares you see depends on your airline's agreements.

The myIDTravel App and myIDgo

Lufthansa Industry Solutions makes two apps. The myIDTravel App does what the website does on your phone: book, rebook and cancel ID tickets and track flights. It works only if your airline has turned on app login. myIDgo is for hotel and rental car discounts for airline staff; if your airline allows it, it also shows your myIDTravel bookings, read-only.

Is there a myIDTravel app?

Yes. The myIDTravel App from Lufthansa Industry Solutions lets you book, rebook and cancel ID tickets and track flights. You can use it only if your airline has enabled app login; otherwise use the website.

Why can't I log in to myIDTravel?

Access is set up by your employer. Contact your airline's staff travel department for a new password, a locked account or missing airlines.

What is myIDgo?

An app from the makers of myIDTravel with hotel and rental car discounts for airline staff. If your airline allows it, it also shows your myIDTravel bookings.

Does every airline list me automatically when I book in myIDTravel?

No. Some airlines list you automatically when you buy the ticket, others need a separate listing or an email. Check the rules on the airline's page.

Is Staff Airlines part of myIDTravel?

No. Staff Airlines is a separate app. You book and list in myIDTravel; Staff Airlines shows estimated open seats so you can pick the flight.
