Croatia Airlines staff travel & standby
Croatia Airlines ID tickets are booked in myIDTravel, and rebooking is done there too. Check in at least 60 minutes before departure, carry documents for every stopover country in case you are offloaded, and plan to check in again at each connection: through check-in isn't available on standby. Staff Airlines shows estimated open seats on Croatia Airlines flights before you go.

How to list for standby on Croatia Airlines
Book your ID ticket in myIDTravel. If you have questions, write to [email protected].
Flights you can't use
Croatia Airlines has no embargoes on its routes.
Visas and travel documents
If your trip needs a visa, getting it before you travel is your responsibility. Without one, you can be denied boarding.
On trips with stopovers you may be offloaded to give your seat to a full-fare passenger, so carry the passport, visa and other documents needed for every country where you stop.
Baggage
You get the same allowance as a full-fare passenger, but your bags travel only if there is space and the flight's weight limits allow it.
- Cabin bag in Economy: 1 piece, up to 55 × 40 × 20 cm and 8 kg.
- Cabin bags in Business and First: 2 pieces (the first up to 55 × 40 × 20 cm and 8 kg, the second up to 57 × 54 × 15 cm and 4 kg).
- Excess baggage follows full-fare rules and must be paid in full at the normal rates.
The full baggage rules are on www.croatiaairlines.hr.
Check-in
Check in at least 60 minutes before departure. If you are late, you can be refused on the flight.
Through check-in isn't available on standby, so leave enough time at every stop to land and check in again.
Boarding, seats and upgrades
Seat requests aren't permitted on ID tickets.
Special services, children and pets
- Special meals can't be pre-booked for ID passengers.
- Children under 16 can travel on an ID ticket only with an adult on the same type of ID ticket.
Dress code
Your appearance and behaviour must follow Croatia Airlines policy. Dress as you would for the office, or smart casual: jeans, T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, gym shoes and other very casual clothes aren't acceptable. Don't inconvenience commercial passengers or distract the ground staff and cabin crew from serving them. If you ignore the rules, you can be refused travel.
