Visas and travel documents
Always make sure you carry all the right travel documents.
Baggage
You get the same baggage allowance as a paying passenger. Check www.kenya-airways.com before you fly.
Check-in
Check-in time limits are on www.kenya-airways.com. Make sure you are at the gate on time.
Boarding, seats and upgrades
ID passengers, Kenya Airways staff included, board by Priority Serial Number (PSN):
- Kenya Airways staff on ID tickets.
- Staff of SkyTeam member airlines.
- Staff of all other airlines.
Seat requests aren't possible on standby.
Special services, children and pets
- Special services and special meals aren't available to airline staff on standby.
- Unaccompanied minors aren't accepted on interline staff tickets. Dependents can travel alone only if they are over 16.
Dress code
Dress neatly and look after your appearance: neat casual or business clothes. T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and extravagant clothing aren't acceptable; neat, tidy jeans are fine. If you ignore the dress code, you may be refused travel.
Changes and refunds
Kenya Airways expects every interline employee to carry back-up tickets issued by their own airline. It doesn't issue ZED tickets for interline staff; its myIDTravel partner airlines can buy them only through myIDTravel portals.
