The normal IATA free baggage allowance applies, and excess baggage is charged at the applicable rates.
Boarding, seats and upgrades
- You can't request a seat on staff travel. If the flight is wide open, check-in staff may offer you an aisle or window seat, subject to availability.
- Even a seat assigned at check-in can be changed if commercial needs require it.
- Don't ask Kuwait Airways staff for an upgrade.
- No one is accepted in the flight deck of Kuwait Airways aircraft.
Special services, children and pets
- Special meals can't be pre-booked on rebate or standby tickets.
- Infant safety seats can't be used on board.
- Unaccompanied minors aren't accepted. Children under 16 can travel only with an adult holding a similar discounted ticket.
- No other special service requests are allowed on standby (space available) tickets.
Dress code
Staff and their families must wear smart casual. Clothes should be neat, undamaged, well kept, well fitting and in good condition. Kuwait Airways stations are required to refuse ID passengers who aren't dressed properly.
Changes and refunds
Carry back-up tickets issued by your own airline: Kuwait Airways expects this of all interline employees and their eligible nominees.
A ticket is valid for no more than 3 months from the date of issue; the validity is shown in the not valid before/after box.
Good to know
- Children under 12 pay 67 percent of the adult zone fare. Infants pay nothing and travel on a no-fare ticket.
- Eligible persons can get unlimited tickets under the ZED agreement.
- Tickets and coupons are accepted without endorsement by any ZED participant that has a similar bilateral agreement with Kuwait Airways.
- Taxes, fees and charges must be collected and shown on the ticket.
- Comprehensive travel insurance is recommended for your own benefit. Kuwait Airways won't compensate for injury, illness, or loss of money, documents or belongings while you are away from home.
