Royal Air Maroc staff travel & standby

Staff of other airlines travelling on ZED tickets can list at check-in on the day of the flight, or when booking the flight as SA (Seat Available).

• You must have your ticket number at check-in.
• If your booking is Open SA, get listed before you go to the check-in counter, to avoid problems. You can do this at a Royal Air Maroc sales office or through the call center: 00 212 522 489 797
• Before you leave, buy every ticket you may need for the whole journey from your own airline. Royal Air Maroc doesn't issue ZED tickets to interline staff.

• All codeshare flights.
• All charter flights.

Flights Royal Air Maroc leases from other airlines, especially from its regional subsidiary RAM Express (RXP), can be used.

Royal Air Maroc doesn't usually set embargoes, but flights in peak seasons are often full. Business class on flights to the Americas may be embargoed. Ask your own staff travel office about any embargoes on Royal Air Maroc flights.

Staff and family members need a valid passport and the visas required for the destination and for scheduled stops on the way, in case they are offloaded there. Bring all the immigration and health documents your destination country requires. Without a valid passport or visa, you may be refused boarding.

• Cabin: one piece of hand luggage, up to 10 kg, with length, width and height adding up to no more than 115 cm.
• A laptop is allowed on top of that and doesn't count as hand baggage.
• If there isn't enough room in the cabin, your hand luggage may be taken at boarding and put in the hold. You will get a receipt for it.
• On flights from the EU or with connections in Europe, liquids in the cabin are restricted.
• Checked baggage follows the piece concept: each adult can check one or two pieces, depending on the destination.
• Bags over 32 kg with dimensions adding up to more than 203 cm must go through the freight service.

• International flights, off-peak: check in 2 hours before departure, or 3 hours for long-haul flights.
• Peak periods, such as school holidays: check in 3 hours before, or 4 hours for long-haul flights.
• Check-in closes 60 minutes before departure.
• Leave enough time at every stop to land and check in again.

In line with ZED rules, Royal Air Maroc doesn't accept unaccompanied minors on interline staff tickets.

Always wear clean, neat clothes. Nothing that could offend or distract other passengers: so nothing overly revealing or vulgar, and nothing that breaks common standards of decency.

• For tickets on AT 147 stock, cancel your booking before you travel. Otherwise you may have to wait up to 7 days before you can request a refund in myIDTravel by clicking the ticket number.
• Full refunds should reach your account within 7–10 days, depending on your bank.
• Partial refunds and refunds handled offline usually take 4 weeks or more after you submit them.
• If you are downgraded from Business to Economy, the fare difference isn't refunded.
