How to list for standby on Arkia Airlines
Listing and booking are done on the myIDTravel website, so you don't need to call.
- In myIDTravel, pick the airline "Arkia" first, not "All airlines".
- For a standby domestic flight (TLV-ETM-TLV, on R2, S2 and similar), choose a flight showing a green or yellow face, not a red or sad face. You can try any flight on the same day, and station staff will help you.
At the moment there is a problem issuing domestic tickets in myIDTravel. Email [email protected] and Arkia will issue the ticket for you.
Arkia is ticketless: you get only a reservation number, no ticket number. For any question or help, email [email protected].
Flights you can't use
Codeshare flights not operated by IZ are excluded. For embargoes, see the remarks in myIDTravel.
Baggage
- International flights: 20 kg
- Domestic flights: 10 kg
Check-in
- Go to airport check-in like any other passenger.
- Tell the agent you are an airline employee and follow the ground staff's instructions.
- A supervisor will tell you when and how you'll be accepted on the flight.
Dress code
Your appearance and behaviour must follow Arkia's policy. Don't inconvenience paying passengers or distract ground staff and cabin crew from serving them. Dress in line with public standards of good taste: usually office wear or smart casual.
If the captain approves you to travel in the cockpit, don't wear T-shirts, shorts, gym shoes, sandals, dresses or similar very casual clothes. Ignoring these rules can mean you are refused travel.
Changes and refunds
Arkia doesn't offer rebooking. If you cancel your reservation, the money goes back to your credit card within a few days.
