Every Azul staff travel booking is made in myIDTravel: tickets aren't issued by email or at the airport. Book international flights at least 23 hours 59 minutes before departure and domestic flights at least 1 hour 59 minutes before, and only on flights Azul operates itself. Staff Airlines shows estimated open seats on Azul flights before you go.

How to list for standby on Azul
- Make your reservation in myIDTravel. Azul doesn't issue tickets by email or at the airport.
- For an international flight, book at least 23 hours 59 minutes before departure.
- For a domestic flight, book at least 1 hour 59 minutes before departure.
You can issue a ticket up to 90 days ahead. If you aren't sure which passenger type code (PTC) to use, ask your own company's Staff Travel team. For problems with a reservation, email [email protected].
Flights you can't use
Only flights operated by Azul itself can be used. Anything Azul doesn't operate is excluded, for example Azul Conecta and codeshare flights.

Baggage
On both domestic and international flights you can take 1 checked bag and 1 carry-on. The full baggage rules are on Azul's website: https://www.voeazul.com.br/br/pt/home
Check-in
Check in on Azul's website or app, or at the airport. If you check in at the airport, get there ahead of your scheduled departure.
Boarding, seats and upgrades
You only find out whether you have a seat at boarding time, and only if one is available.
If your PNR was issued directly in Business Class, Azul's system can't downgrade it: this applies to standby ZED fares too. If you are told at the gate that Business is full, Azul strongly recommends issuing a new ticket in Economy.
Special services, children and pets
Children aren't allowed in Business Class on Azul. The system won't let you complete a standby Business booking that includes a child, so book in Economy instead.
Dress code
Dress in a way that respects paying customers and employees. These aren't allowed:
- slippers or flip-flops
- see-through tank tops and blouses
- skirts or shorts more than 4 inches above the knee
- your company's uniform
- mini blouses or excessive cleavage
- dirty clothes or shoes
- ripped jeans
- sports team shirts
- swimwear
- anything else considered inappropriate
If you try to board on a myIDTravel staff ticket wearing any of these, you may be denied boarding and reported, at the discretion of the authorities present.
Changes and refunds
Within the 90 days after issue you can rebook the same PNR. All changes, cancellations and refund requests go through myIDTravel.
Azul is ticketless, so you won't have a ticket number to quote for a refund. Instead:
- Find your PNR in myIDTravel.
- Cancel it.
- Azul processes the refund automatically. It can take up to 10 business days.
A Business Class ticket may be partly refunded if you end up flying in a lower cabin. For details, or any other refund question, email [email protected].
