How to list for standby on S7 Airlines
A listing is required for all space-available (standby or subload) travel; without one you will be denied check-in. Standby tickets and listings are made in RBD E for Economy and RBD U for Business.
- List with S7 by email at [email protected] or by phone, at least 48 hours before international flights and 12 hours before all other flights.
- Email listing works 24 hours a day.
- In Russia, contact the S7 Travel Desk at +7(495)411 77 41.
Include in your request:
- Itinerary (from / to).
- Flight number(s) or departure time.
- Travel date(s).
- Your employing airline.
- Your first name and surname.
- A contact, if different from the email address you write from.
- Ticket number.
- Passport data: number, date and country of issue, nationality, date of birth, gender and expiry date.
Your ticket must be issued by your own airline. S7 Airlines can reissue tickets for other airlines' staff and make confirmed or space-available reservations: contact an S7 office or representative using the details above. If an infant takes a separate seat, the ticket is issued at the child fare.
Flights you can't use
Staff travel is valid only on flights operated by S7 Airlines. You can't use:
- Charter flights (S7 8000–S7 8800).
- S7-marketed flights operated by other carriers (S7 4000–S7 4999).
No permanent embargoes apply on S7 Airlines.
Visas and travel documents
For international travel you need a valid passport and the right visas for your destination, and you must provide them to S7 before check-in.
- The SSR DOCS element must be in the PNR for every flight.
- For flights to Germany, SSR DOCO and SSR DOCA must be in the PNR too.
Baggage
You get the same allowance as paying passengers. Present all your baggage for weighing at check-in, except things you need when boarding, leaving the aircraft or during the flight: a coat, a handbag, an umbrella, a walking stick, reading material, a bouquet of flowers, a briefcase, an infant carrier or pushchair, a wheelchair, and a suit in a suit carrier.
The usual checked allowance:
- Business: 1 piece up to 32 kg.
- Economy: 1 piece up to 23 kg.
- Children aged 2–12: the same as adults.
- Infants under 2 without their own seat: up to 10 kg plus a baby stroller.
The free allowance doesn't cover items whose three dimensions add up to more than 203 cm when packed, or pets in the cabin (PETC) and in the hold (AVIH).
Cabin baggage:
- Business: up to 15 kg, max 55 × 40 × 20 cm.
- Economy: up to 10 kg, max 55 × 40 × 20 cm.
Check-in

- Check in at an Economy class desk. Self-service kiosks and online check-in aren't available to staff travelers.
- Check-in closes 40 minutes before the departure time on your ticket.
