How to list for standby on SunExpress
For tickets bought in myIDTravel, the system lists you automatically when the ticket is issued.
Flights you can't use
- Charter flights.
- Codeshare flights not operated by SunExpress.
Visas and travel documents
It's up to you to get your passport, visas and vaccination certificates and to check they are valid before the trip. SunExpress takes no responsibility for missing or invalid documents, and if the airline is fined because of them, the fine is passed on to you.
The passenger data in your booking (PNR) and passport (API) may be sent to the authorities at your departure and arrival points.
Baggage
You get the same allowance as a full-fare passenger, but your bags travel only if there is space and the flight's weight limits allow it.
- Excess baggage follows the normal full-fare rules and must be paid in full at standard rates.
- Don't check in anything on behalf of someone else.
Special services, children and pets
You can ask for a wheelchair, but no other special requests are accepted.
Dress code
Look well groomed, neat, clean and in good taste, and dress with respect for paying passengers.
Changes and refunds
Refund an unused ticket online in myIDTravel. Don't use a chargeback to get your money back: SunExpress can dispute an illegitimate chargeback and charge the extra fees to the cardholder.
