How to list for standby on Avianca
Listing or booking is mandatory for NIET and IET tickets, under the agreement in place between the airlines.
Included are all flights operated by AV, TA, LR and 2K.
Baggage
Employees, retirees and their eligible travellers don't pay the fee for the first checked bag, up to 23 kg.
Special services, children and pets
Children under 16 must travel with an adult on every segment, and the adult must hold a ZED ticket with the same conditions.
Dress code
Dress in line with public standards of good taste, and with respect for revenue passengers, employees and beneficiaries. Customer service has the final word on anything about the dress code.
Changes and refunds
If you don't board your original flight, make changes in myIDTravel only. Don't let an airport agent revalidate or exchange your ZED ticket: once it has been revalidated, myIDTravel can't process a refund.
Request refunds only in myIDTravel, no later than 90 days after the ticket was issued:
- Cancel the itinerary. If the travel date has already passed, retrieve it by ticket number.
- Enter the ticket number and choose the "Refund" option.
- Allow one billing cycle for the refund to arrive.
- Check the refund status at serviciosenlinea.avianca.com with your ticket number.
If a refund is delayed by more than 60 days, contact [email protected]. Don't file a chargeback with your bank: it delays the refund. Downgrade refunds aren't available.

Travel partners are accepted only if an agreement is in place and the employee travels with them on all segments.
