How to list for standby on Wingo
- Buy all travel in myIDTravel. Wingo is ticketless.
- Book one-way trips only; a round trip will cause an error. For BOG-CTG-BOG, book BOG-CTG and then CTG-BOG as a separate booking.
- You can list for flights up to 30 days ahead.
- Connections aren't permitted.
- All fares are charged in USD, not Colombian pesos.
Flights you can't use
- Charters and flights not operated by Wingo/Aerorepública.
- Flights sold as Copa Airlines (CM) codeshares.
- There are no embargoes.
Baggage
Free of charge: one carry-on, one personal item and one checked bag.
- Checked bag: up to 158 linear cm and under 20 kg.
- Carry-on: up to 55 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm and under 12 kg.
- Personal item, such as a purse or laptop: up to 40 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm, and it must fit under the seat in front of you.
Check-in
Check in at the airport ticket counter: it's free. Do it at least 60 minutes before domestic flights and at least 90 minutes before international flights.
Boarding, seats and upgrades
Boarding goes by check-in time, and you're cleared if seats are open.
Special services, children and pets
- Infants (under 2) must be booked with a reservations agent at the contact center (phone numbers on Wingo.com) or at the airport ticket counter.
- Ask for a wheelchair through reservations.
- Unaccompanied minors aren't allowed. You must be over 18 to travel without an adult.
- Employees of other airlines can bring their own pet if there is space, for the applicable fee. Pay it through the contact center on WhatsApp: +573203337099.
Dress code
Casual dress is fine. Not allowed: beachwear, pajamas and clothes with holes.
