Booking and listing on Chair Airlines are done only in myIDTravel, and listing happens automatically when you book. Cancelling and rebooking don't work at the moment, so refunds are requested by email instead. Staff Airlines shows estimated open seats on Chair Airlines flights before you go.

How to list for standby on Chair Airlines
You need a booking and listing for every flight, and you can only make it in myIDTravel, where the listing is created automatically.
myIDTravel sometimes shows the wrong booking status: for example, cancelled or fully refunded when it isn't. If in doubt, check your booking under Booking Management on www.chair.ch/en
Flights you can't use
Charter flights are excluded, for example Pristina–Stuttgart and back.
Visas and travel documents
It's up to you to carry all valid travel documents.
Baggage
- Checked: 1 piece up to 23 kg per person, adult or child.
- Infants: 1 checked piece up to 10 kg.
- Travelling with small children or infants, you can check a stroller or child seat on top of that.
- Cabin: 1 piece up to 8 kg per person, no larger than 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm.
Check-in
myIDTravel passengers, standby and confirmed, can check in online, except when departing from Marsa Alam or Pristina. If you can't check in online, go to the check-in desk.
Dress code
Chair has only one travel class, Economy, and asks you to dress appropriately. Be courteous to airport staff, airline staff and other passengers.
Changes and refunds
- Trying to cancel a booking in myIDTravel gives an error. Go straight to a refund instead.
- Rebooking or relisting isn't possible at the moment. Refund the original booking, then book the new flight.
To get a refund (automatic refunds aren't available right now):
- Email [email protected] with a copy to [email protected].
- Include your booking reference.
- Allow up to 30 days. If 30 days have passed, check your credit card statement before you contact Chair.
