On ITA Airways all bookings and listings are made in myIDTravel only, and that is also where you cancel, refund and claim downgrades. Standby passengers can't check through to a connection, and ZED tickets don't allow special services or unaccompanied minors. Visas and travel documents
For international trips, every passenger needs a valid passport and the visas required for the final destination and for scheduled stopovers on the way, in case of offloading. Some countries require a visa, so check the latest entry rules for your trip. ITA Airways is not responsible for missing or invalid documents.
Baggage
- Hand baggage: one item only, up to 8 kg and no larger than 55 cm high, 35 cm wide and 25 cm deep.
- Checked baggage in Economy: 1 piece × 23 kg.
- Checked baggage in Premium: 1 piece × 23 kg.
- Checked baggage in Business: 1 piece × 32 kg; on domestic flights 1 piece × 23 kg.
Check-in
- ID passengers check in at the Economy counter, no later than 90 minutes before domestic flights and 120 minutes before medium- and long-haul flights.
- With carry-on baggage only, you can check in at the transit desk.
- Online check-in is available on the ITA Airways website.
- Once you have your boarding card, go to the boarding gate in time for boarding.
- On standby tickets, through check-in isn't allowed: for you or your bags.
Special services, children and pets
- On ZED tickets you can't get a wheelchair, a pet in the cabin (PETC) or in the hold (AVIH), a special meal or an advance seat reservation (ASR).
- Unaccompanied minors on ZED tickets aren't accepted.
Dress code
Dress appropriately and tidily, in line with common standards of good taste. Clothes showing offensive words or images, which could harm the airline's image, aren't allowed.
Not allowed:
- Flip-flops and slippers.
- Tank tops.
- Shorts and Bermuda shorts.
- Swimwear and beachwear.
- Sportswear.
If you don't follow these rules, airport staff can deny you boarding or downgrade you.
Changes and refunds
- Cancellations, refunds and downgrades are all handled in myIDTravel.
- To get a refund on a confirmed ticket, cancel your reservation at least 36 hours before departure.
