How to list for standby on Harbour Air Seaplanes
Harbour Air Seaplanes offers standby on its scheduled flights to partner airlines' employees and their eligible travelers, at the agreed ZED fare. Listing isn't currently available in myIDTravel.
To list, email the Staff Travel department at [email protected] with:
- Routing: origin and destination, travel dates, flight numbers and departure times.
- Employee details: name, employing airline, employee number, date of hire, position, contact number and company email address.
- Eligible travelers: first and last names, dates of birth for children under 24, and their relationship to the employee.
- A screenshot or photo of your myIDTravel “Traveller Selection” page showing your eligible travelers.
The employee gets a confirmation email once the listing has been processed.
Staff Travel works Monday to Friday, 8AM–4PM PST, and is closed on all Canadian statutory holidays. Requests received during office hours are processed within 48 hours. Requests sent on Friday after hours, at weekends or on holidays are processed the next business day.
Payment is taken at the terminal when your seat is confirmed. All major credit cards, debit and cash are accepted.
Flights you can't use
Scheduled flights operated by Harbour Air Group are included. Tours, charter flights and scheduled flights not operated by Harbour Air Group are excluded.
Visas and travel documents
On Seattle flights, every passenger needs a passport book, infants included. NEXUS cards, enhanced driver's licenses and passport cards aren't accepted at this border crossing.
Baggage
You get Harbour Air's standard allowance, the same as every passenger. Details are on www.harbourair.com.
Check-in
- Check in at the terminal at least 40 minutes before departure. Bring a government-issued photo ID and a valid airline photo ID.
- Seattle flights: check in no later than 1 hour before departure.
Boarding, seats and upgrades
Among interline travelers, boarding priority goes by check-in time.
Special services, children and pets
On standby, children aged 11 and under must travel with an adult on the same flight.
