How to list for standby on Porter Airlines
You must list for every Porter flight.
Flights you can't use
There are no embargoes. Charter flights can't be used.
Visas and travel documents
Show your company ID together with either:
- one valid government-issued photo ID with your name, date of birth and gender, or
- two valid government-issued IDs without photos that show your name, date of birth and gender.
To fly to or from the United States, you need a valid passport. If you are not a citizen of Canada or the United States, ask your consulate or embassy about boarding requirements.
Baggage
You get the same allowance as commercial passengers. Check www.flyporter.com before you travel.
Check-in
Check in at least one hour before departure. For now, non-revenue passengers can't check in online or at airport kiosks.
Boarding, seats and upgrades
Non-revenue passengers board last.
Dress code
Look neat and well groomed, in clean clothes in good repair. Casual items such as jeans, running shoes and baseball caps are allowed.
Not appropriate (examples, not a full list):
- any workout clothing, including jogging suits, sweatpants, rugby pants or sports attire
- flip-flops
- T-shirts with offensive graphics
If you don't follow these rules, you will be refused travel.

Do I need to list for a Porter standby flight?
