On PAL Airlines, ticketing, listing, changes and cancellations all go through myIDTravel, and tickets can be refunded for up to a year from issue. When several airline employees are on one flight, they board in the order they checked in. Staff Airlines shows estimated open seats on PAL Airlines flights before you go.

How to list for standby on PAL Airlines
Use myIDTravel for buying the ticket, listing, changes and cancellations.
Flights you can't use
- All codeshare flights.
- All charter flights.
Baggage
- Checked: two pieces free of charge, together weighing no more than 50 pounds, each up to 62 linear inches.
- A bag over these limits can still travel as excess baggage, for a fee and only if space and weight allow.
- Bags are checked to your final PAL Airlines destination on the itinerary.
- Carry-on: one free piece up to 21 × 9 × 15 inches per guest in a paid seat, plus one personal item such as a small purse, laptop bag or diaper bag.
- Lap-held infant: two pieces of infant equipment (an infant restraint system, playpen or stroller) free of charge.
- Child or infant with their own fare: one piece of such equipment free, on top of the checked allowance.
Check-in
You can check in at the airport from 2 hours before departure. Check-in must be finished 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Boarding, seats and upgrades
When two or more airline employees are on the same flight, they board in the order they showed up at check-in.
Special services, children and pets
- To add a special service request (SSR), call the Reservations Centre at 1-800-563-2800 at least 48 hours before departure.
- To use an infant seat, you need to buy a child ticket, because the infant will need a seat.
- Unaccompanied minors aren't accepted for standby travel. Dependent children under 16 must travel with an adult.
Dress code
Business casual. Jeans in good condition are fine.
Changes and refunds
Changes and cancellations are made in myIDTravel. PAL Airlines also asks you to contact Reservations at 1-800-563-2800 at least 24 hours before the flight, with your reservation or confirmation number ready. Otherwise you will be recorded as a no-show and cancelled.
Refunds:
- Tickets can be refunded through myIDTravel for up to one year from the issue date.
- Fully unused tickets are refunded automatically, including the myIDTravel fee.
- For a partial refund or a fare difference, contact Reservations at 1-800-563-2800 or [email protected].
- For other help, email [email protected] with your airline and employee number.
