How to list for standby on JetBlue
Every flight needs a listing, made online at https://www.myidtravel.com. JetBlue no longer takes listings through its 800 number, and you can't list at the airport. If you don't have your airline's login, contact your own airline's staff travel department.
Listing for Mint (Business Class) on a transatlantic flight? Do it more than 25 hours before departure. Meals on these flights are loaded according to the seats booked or listed at that time, plus a buffer for last-minute changes.

Only flights operated by JetBlue can be used.

Pass travel includes 2 checked bags. Size limits and other carry-on and checked baggage requirements are on jetblue.com.
Check-in
When you check in through JetBlue's self-service channels, your check-in time stamp sets your place on the standby priority list.
- Online: from 24 hours until 90 minutes before departure, at www.jetblue.com/checkin or in the JetBlue mobile app for iOS and Android.
- Kiosk: until 30 minutes before departure.
- Counter: if you need help at the airport, you can use the full-service counters, except those reserved for Mint customers and Mosaic members.
Connecting? Check in for your first flight only. Once you are cleared at your origin, the system adds you to the priority list for the connection automatically. If you check in for the connecting flight on its own, you lose your original time stamp and get a lower boarding priority.
Dress code
Wear clean, well-kept clothes in good taste.
Acceptable:
- shirts with sleeves and collars, T-shirts
- walking shorts no shorter than 3" above the knee
- nice jeans, dress slacks, skirts, dresses, jogging suits
- dress shoes, open-toe shoes, nice sneakers
Not acceptable:
- torn, ragged, slashed, dirty, frayed, low-cut, skimpy or revealing clothes
- offensive or sexually oriented prints or messages
- halter, tube or midriff tops, sweats of any kind, leggings, beach or swimwear
- dirty, stained or worn-looking shoes
- visible body piercings and tattoos: keep them covered

Do I list for a JetBlue standby flight in myIDTravel?
Yes. Every flight needs a listing, made online at https://www.myidtravel.com. Listings aren't accepted through the 800 number or at the airport.
Can I fly on a JetBlue buddy pass?
Only if a JetBlue employee gives you one. Buddy passes are issued by the airline to its own staff for friends and family, and JetBlue's employee rules decide who can use them and what they cost. Buddy pass travelers fly standby and usually board after employees.
How is standby priority decided on JetBlue?
By the time stamp of your check-in through JetBlue's self-service channels: online, in the app or at a kiosk.
Should I check in for my connecting flight?
No. Check in for your first flight only; the system puts you on the priority list for the connection once you clear at your origin. Checking in for the connection alone gives you a lower priority.

It depends on the ZED and interline agreements of the airline you work for. In Staff Airlines, the partner airlines filter shows only the flights you can board.
